New challenge awaits Honda Montesa in TrialGP World Championship
Miquel Gelabert faces the second round of the season in Andorra feeling positive.

The Honda Montesa team move on to the second round of the TrialGP World Championship this weekend, competing in Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra from June 12th-14th. Following the RTL Electric's debut in the premier class a month ago in Motegi, Japan, the team will continue adapting to the highest level of the outdoor competition.
In the opening round, Miquel Gelabert delivered two strong performances on a particularly demanding course. The Spanish rider finished sixth in the combined standings on the first day in Japan, and improved to fifth on the second day, securing a place in the Super Final on both occasions.
Thanks to these results, Gelabert currently occupies sixth position in the overall championship standings with 43 points, tied with Harry Hemingway. The Honda Montesa rider also recently secured third place on the podium in the second round of the Spanish Championship, held in Gironella.
The race in Sant Julià de Lòria will present a new challenge for the team, working on the development of the RTL Electric under the most demanding conditions.

"I'm really excited for this second round, after the great start to the season we had in Japan. We were able to have two very positive races and draw important conclusions to continue improving. During these past few weeks, we've worked hard to continue adapting to the demands of TrialGP. Competing in Andorra is always special, and the goal will be to keep progressing, close the gap to the leading riders, and fight for the best possible result."

"In our debut in the top category, at the first round in Japan, we were able to identify some areas for improvement, and both Miquel and the entire team have been working to get to Andorra in the best possible shape. We're motivated and aware that it will be a demanding and challenging race, although in our case, we won't have the disadvantage of altitude since we're competing with an electric bike. The goal for this weekend is to keep progressing and fight for the top positions."
